Limb Loss, Love

Review by Rachel Moore

The vibe of this show is irreverent.

A stand-up set from Dan Hurwitz, who is a disabled, mixed-race (Black/Jewish), light-skinned comedian from the Pacific Northwest.

Hurwitz doesn’t shy away from any possible joke, using his formidable wit to highlight life’s many absurdities. Stories about hippie grocery stores, nudity on public transit, and touring Alaska flow seamlessly into stories about growing up in a Black & Jewish family or life with only two fingers on each hand.

Sometimes wacky, sometimes profane, always funny, Limb Loss, Love is well worth your time.
